The North Dakota Board of Dietetic Practice (NDBODP) consists of five board members who are appointed by the governor. Members must be residents of the state; three members must be registered dietitians, one member a licensed nutritionist and one member represents a consumer of health services. The Board licenses registered dietitians and nutritionists to practice medical nutrition therapy.
Note: It is illegal to practice medical nutrition therapy in North Dakota without a license. Before you consult or hire a registered dietitian or nutritionist, verify the individual’s licensure or call the NDBODP office at 701.253.0700.
